🧹💫 Elemental Home Cleansing 💫🧹
Energy stuck? Does your space feel heavy? It might be time for a cleansing. I take three easy steps to refresh my abode when the vibes are off. These usually do the trick. If something still doesn't feel right after this, you can do deeper cleansings that I will share later, but these will get you started.
What You'll Need:
· Abalone shell or small metal bowl
· Broom
· Floral essential oil or water mist (to attract positivity) - water and earth
· Herb wand or incense stick (to repel negativity) - fire and air
· Lighter or match
Steps:

1. Smoke cleanse all doorways, thresholds, windows, cabinets, closets, dark corners, and portals. (Counter-clockwise to banish, but both directions will cleanse.)
Chant: By the power of Fire and Air, all negative entities and energies are banished. This space is cleared, and the portal is sealed. (3x or more)

2. Fill all spaces with a floral essential oil mist.
Chant: By the power of Water and Earth, this space attracts only positive energies and entities who serve my best and highest good. (1x each space)

3. Hold your broom parallel to the floor and use the handle to knock 3x on either every wall or the furthest wall in each direction.
Chant: I declare this space mine. No energies or entities are allowed without my permission. (1x each wall)
Close by sweeping out the door to symbolize the cleansing being done.
So mote it be!

Chant Notes
Feel free to change the chants to suit your needs best. I often switch them up depending on a variety of factors.
If you're a reader, you may need to give permission to your clients' spirits to enter before readings, depending on how you word your chants.
Smoke Cleanse Notes
Some herbs, resins, and woods that cleanse well are balsam, bay laurel, benzoin, cinnamon, cedar, copal, dragon's blood, frankincense, juniper, lavender, myrrh, palo santo, pine, rosemary, and sage.
I usually use something that grows locally to where I live. In my case, I use a mix of lavender, rosemary, and bay leaves that all grow in my yard. Sometimes, I add mint, olive leaves, roses, or sage.
Floral Scents Notes
My go-tos for positive-energy-attracting floral scents are Florida water and rosewater.
I pour whichever I'm using into a spray bottle for easy use, then spritz each room a couple of times (or more, depending on size), plus closets and anywhere else that feels like it needs it.
You can also use orange blossom water, gardenia, jasmine, lavender, or any uplifting floral blends.
Give yourself a day to a week, then reassess the energy. It should feel instantly lighter, but if a heaviness pervades, you may need to take more steps like adding physical wards (Rowan wood crosses, crystals, evil eyes, kitchen witches, etc.), warding mirrors, washing floors with red brick dust, putting railroad spikes around the perimeter, or sprinkling eggshell powder around. (And so much more... I'll post more in the future.)
You can also cleanse your personal space by getting energy healing like reiki, doing yoga, walking/hiking/exercising, eating healthy, going to a sound bath, meditating, doing breath work, journaling, practicing art therapy, dancing, singing, playing an instrument or listening to music, hugging a tree, or taking a bath, especially one with soothing herbs like lavender.
I did the first three steps, and then my journaling turned into this post, lol. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me! It sparked my creativity, which was much needed. 🙌✨
